About me
I'm a software engineer who works across the full stack: React and Next.js on the frontend, Node.js/Express APIs and PostgreSQL on the backend, and Tauri for desktop applications.
I care most about the steps that happen before any code is written — understanding the problem, mapping out requirements, and choosing an architecture that will hold up as a system grows. DollTop, a commerce platform combining a storefront, a central API, and an offline-capable desktop POS, is the clearest example of that in my work so far.
I'm continuing to build depth in cloud infrastructure, distributed-system trade-offs, and formal solutions-architecture practice alongside hands-on delivery.
What I enjoy building
I’m drawn to systems with more than one moving part — a storefront, an API, and a desktop terminal that all have to agree with each other, or a dashboard where AI drafts something a person still has to review before it’s saved. Those are the projects where the interesting work happens before the UI: deciding what owns which data, how the pieces stay consistent, and what happens when one of them goes offline.
Where I’m headed
I want to keep growing from “builds the system” toward “designs the system a team builds” — going deeper on cloud architecture, observability, and the kind of formal solutions-architecture practice that a growing platform eventually needs.
